Our featured member is Nicky’s World. It is a warm and caring center in Tarzana, California for limited and non verbal communicators and their families. With focus on education, leisure/social programs and support groups, its mission is to give voice to limited communicators through community. Individual classes for developing literacy and communication skills help to forge the way for improved curriculum, programs, and employment for limited communicators as the basis for an independent future in a life with meaning. It is a Center for the family and each family’s input and participation helps shape the future of Nicky’s World.
