Mychal's Learning Place is an after school program designed specifically for children ages 11-17 years-of-age with developmental disabilities. We have facilities in Culver City and Hawthorne, serving Greater Los Angeles communities. We provide life skills training, social and recreational activities, homework assistance and community integration. MYCHAL’S INDEPENDENT LIVING, aka M.I.L.E., is a weekend residential program for students with developmental disabilities, ages 17+. During the 10-month curriculum period, kids participate in activities that will transfer to lifelong independent living skills. They are learning job skills necessary for gainful employment, as well as self-respect and knowledge of their individual strengths. Check website for more information and video.
